If you own a macbook air, using this is a headache. Windows users should have no issue but this for mac is just a struggle to use. OBS wont work and the capture doesnt show up.

I bought the HD60x Thinking it may resolve the issues my HD60s was having. But on a recently completelt reset laptop (running an RTX2060 paired with a 10th gen core i7 processor and 16Gbs of ram… the tesult of every other captire (using the flashvack option) is either corrupt video that doesnt play in its entirety (jthe video freezes after a certain point die to the corruption) or isnt playable at all. Anything that coats $200 should jot require this much troubleshooting. Im done. Its being returned promptly.

Product does what it's meant to do, but comes with no instructions, setup literally doesn't stick, has to be messed with every single time for streaming, makes streaming so much harder

Streaming and passthrough is fine however playing extensively with the settings i could never get my ps5 captures to look right, the ps5 natively captures videos at a higher quality.

      Hello,

Correct, you'd want to get another of our capture cards that does over 1080p60 for your PS5. Please refer to capabilities before purchase to make sure you're purchasing what you want/need.

Let down... Gaming monitor cuts in and out

Sadly, I am going to return this, I was so excited to use this because I have heard nothing but good things about Elgato, even got the WAVE 3 microphone and it's amazing! But this capture card was a complete let down! I had everything plugged in correctly, turned off the HDCP, got blue light from the Elgato. But when I plugged into my gaming monitor "MSI - Optix 27" LED Curved QHD FreeSync Monitor (DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI) - Black" there was no signal, black screen with a "no signal" every once in a while. So I switched out the HDMI cable (originally I used a 25') from my PS5 into the Elgato and I got signal, so I figured I just had to use short runs which is whatever but suddenly my monitor started cutting in and out every few minutes OR when something drastic changed on the screen, i.e. when I que for a game or switched items in game around, very annoying and very upsetting. I did try to contact Elgato but I haven't heard anything from them from their support contact, went to reddit and tried out other's advice to no avail. When I looked at other reviews (especially the 1 star, to see if the support will give advice to others struggling with issues) I noticed one review the support person said "update the firmware" went to the Elgato website to see what I can do to do this and was met with this... "Firmware updating is generally not needed anymore for any currently sold Elgato device. They usually already have the latest firmware. DO NOT update firmware for the following products at any time, unless Elgato Technical Support tells you to do so for specific troubleshooting purposes" Than it gave a list of the different capture cards that you can NOT do an update and the HD60 X is the fourth one down from the list.... So this is a let down... I will look into other options.

Compared to the HD60 S+, this one is awesome. It actually keeps your game running at 120 FPS. The S+ only let you run up to 60 FPS.

I was very excited to use this product and had to wait a week to receive it since it had to be shipped, however after receiving it and using it I noticed that the HD60 X, with my XBox Series X connected, would have the problem that the audio and the video would desync after awhile even when playing a game (Skyrim, Overwatch), I even jumped back to using my HD 60 pro and never had that issue happen when just leaving it idle. Also before asking if I tried to update the firmware the HD60 X, I checked the firmware on the 4K Capture Utility and it said it didn't have an update Will be returning the product in the morning.

To be honest most consoles dont support 4k video anyways so it’s a little odd that you would want this, but i suppose you are prepared for the future. I really wanted to use it on my 1 pc setup but ran into so many problems i just brought it back. I would recommend just saving up for a better graphics card or processor if you really want to stream on a 1 pc setup. Overall the quality is pretty dang good, but audio is always an issue when using something like this to just record. There are ways around it, but i just find it not too user friendly.

This capture card is picking up A TON of static and audio distortions that are not present in my console or my TV. I've spent days trying to fix it, I've replaced all the HDMI cables and USB cables thinking perhaps it was a bad cable causing the noise. But this device is practically unusable. My video capture is 100% perfect but the audio is TRASH. So much static and distortions the device really cannot be used. I will be returning this $200 piece of garbage.

The capture will only work with more stronger PC, So buy beware make sure you have PC specs to work with it. If not stick with HD 60S+ or HD 60S. This capture card only works with a PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles
