If using this with something like OBS, the sources get all messed up. Wave:3 is something that I wouldn't recommend due to the fact that you don't have the option to use it without also using the Elgato software.

I tried this vs my audiotechnica xlr mic and honestly didnt see anything special about having this compared to the xlr. It's good but nothing that makes it a must have. Build quality was subpar for its price.

Average sound recording quality

AVOID ELGATO AT ALL COSTS

Unfortunately, the software didn't work right - I had an echo whenever I tried using it. Their customer service and technical support were useless and took ~weeks~ to respond, and it was ridiculous things like, "rename your folder" or "make sure your Windows is repaired" (it's a brand new machine!). In the end, nothing worked, and when I asked to return it, they said, "Not our problem - take it back to the store." DO NOT BUY ELGATO PRODUCTS! Try anything else - Logitech, Razer, Blue, HyperX. But if you want peripherals that actually work, with legitimate customer service and support? AVOID ELGATO AT ALL COSTS.

However, after a month of using, the headphones jack in the back went out. Its past return period so im stuck with a 150 mic thats broken.
