I bought this after going back and forth on buying an xlr condenser mic. I have a mediocre usb audio interface and didn't like the idea of buying a microphone and a cloud lifter so I started looking at this. I have to say I am very pleased with it. The sound quality is great, but I wish the software allowed you to apply VST effects. Since the most recent update, I haven't had much issue with the software, but initially it did feel a little buggy.

If you're looking for an awesome mic without having to purchase a mixer, this is the mic to have. You can individually adjust game, music, voice chat, and so much more just from the click of a button. It works even better if you have a StreamDeck. You can't go wrong with this microphone.

Great microphone! And the software that comes with the microphone makes editing your sound mix so easy. Elgato made a great product with this.

Genuinely shocked how good this performs. The mixer program is also very easy and intuitive. Everyone I chat with noticed a huge difference (for the better) when I switched from a Blue Yeti. This thing is really sweet especially for the price.

Upgraded from a Hyper X Solocast and notice the difference right away. This is the best USB mic for streaming or just all around content creation. If you want a great mic and can afford it, you should look no further than this one

The Elgato - Wave 3 is an amazing microphone. I use it for recording how-to videos at work, Zoom calls, and as my main mic for gaming. The sound quality has blown away my expectations.

I LOVE THIS MIC!!! it took a while to get but well worth it. I was using my steelseries arctic 7 for a while and when i switch the mic to the elgato, my friends notice a really big difference in a good way! If you can get a hold of this product you should! you won't be mad =).

I do youtube and twitch and this was a very good investment i was using my headset mic and bought this and the quality is 10x better

I love this mic! I have had numerous mics but this one looks good, feels durable, and has amazing sohnd quality. The software is also a life changer!

best mic i have used specially for the money buy the shock mount and pop filter and your set up in perfect and sounds great.

Sounds quality is great. Only downside is that my mic won’t turn fully off. Not sure if that’s how the mic is or if it’s a problem on my side

Wave:3 microphone makes a huge difference. I tested it through Zoom with a person on the other end with just the computer microphone or the Elgato Wave:3. Easy call from the other end that my sound was clearer and more distinct than without. Highly recommend.

Great sound and control on the mic! If you plan to use the elgato wave software, you might run into some trouble, but if you know a little trouble shooting… you should be fine.

The control of your audio that you get BUILT IN to the mic itself and the software they provide just cant be beat. I used a Blue Yeti before (which is still a great choice) however I cannot be happier with the switch; having everything in one place is super convenient.

Probably one of the best usb mics thats out there for streaming and podcast! Add the Stream deck and the wave xlr and so many options become available! If you dont have to money to spend on a xlr setup this is the way to go!

Overall, I have liked the quality of the audio that this microphone provides, however, the software that Elgato has provided is lacking in some features I would expect for a quality microphone like this. I have also run into a problem where even when I go into the software and check the box to not allow other applications to auto-adjust the gain, it will still adjust the gain on me.

Great USB Microphone for the price. Mic needed firmware update on installation and few tweaks to make it sounds clear and crisp. highly recommended to use with Zoom, Goto, teams, discord, OBS...
