Sometimes the app won't recognize the mug- have to go thru the pairing process again but, it does what it says it will do! I tend to forget my tea/coffee while working but now with this mug, that's an issue! (First world problems, amirite?)

The mug does maintain the temperature of 145 degrees, once it is set up. Some may prefer their coffee hotter, I'm OK with this temp. For me the app is useless for a couple of reasons. Most important and annoying is, mug loses contact with app(on phone) and the app will not complete the update it insists is available. Loss of contact with the app has no effect on maintaining the temp. Lastly, the inside of the mug stains quickly. To me it's just a coffee mug, so I don't care. The ladies may feel differently. All said and done, it does do what it claims,,,,,, it keeps your coffee hot, for about 75 - 80 minutes. I would buy it again.

Christmas Gift for wife that is working great! Very simple to use once you download the app that’s able to control your temp settings. Simple hand wash then place on charging dock when done. She loves it, perfect for when she is at work or weekend mornings!

For all intents and purposes it does what it claims to do well, keep coffee warm. I had to dock it one star because it’s not a flawless device. The app is mediocre and it’s unclear at times what the temperature your mug is set to heat to without the app. That’s my #1 issue - the reliance on the app. Some physical tools to increase/decrease the temperature on the mug itself would make this perfect. The other issue I noticed is no matter what type of coffee I make - pour over, espresso, latte, drip - after I’m finished drinking there is a pile of fine crystals about the size of a dime at the bottom of my cup. If I drink the same drinks in a regular mug that never happens. I can only assume the heating element is causing them to form, and it wouldn’t be an issue if they weren’t so unpleasant to accidentally drink.

I have wanted one for many years now and finally got one. Great for sippin on tea or coffee throughout the day!

Very easy to setup and use. Great for those who work at a desk and want to keep their drink at a desired temperature.

After less than two months of ownership, the copper finish is coming off on the inside. This is NOT dried up coffee it is actually the finish slowly coming off. I use it on average 5 out of 7 days per week and clean it with a sponge. I am now drinking copper infused coffee. Eawww. I am past the return policy but I plan on getting reimbursed or given another mug in a finish that won't come off.

I like having my coffee stay the same temperature to the last sip. I also purchased the lid for the cup.

Gave this as a gift after having bought one for myself. The recipient loved it.

Have tried a couple of these for my wife (who is constantly microwaving her coffee keep it warm). This is the only one that has kept her from doing that - quality product (get what you pay for I guess - not cheap)

It’s a great mug.. everything good. The look .. . just size is a little small .. for the price ..

Easy set up and use. The plate is a bit bulky in the way the cord is hard to handle. The app is incredibly easy to use and the cup reaches its designated temperature quickly which is nice. Wish that it would charge faster is my only gripe.

Perfect way to keep my coffee nice and hot! Originally purchased the black Ember Mug 1 mug but the black finish started to peel. Love this stainless steel version. Plus the charging base is smaller on the 2 which I like a lot better.

Great mug, works amazingly with the app to keep exactly the right temperature! Feels good and isn’t too heavy.

Great product. The only drawback is that it doesn’t charger on the charger while there is liquid in it. The charge also doesn’t last very long if you like your coffee as hot as the cup allows (145)

Got this for my wife for Christmas, and now she is getting me one for my birthday. Awesome gift for someone who has to constantly reheat their same cup of coffee. Maintains temp, and easy to clean (hand wash).

A perfect product for keeping your drinks warm. I like my coffee hot and i drink it slowly. This keeps it hot. The weight of the cup is a bit heavy but its not that will bother you. Cleaning of this product is also very easy with no hassle.

I have always loved hot coffee and continually putting it in the microwave was just annoying and wrong. I received this mug as a gift and will never drink from a regular mug again! I set it to my degree of warmth and it STAYS hot to the very last sip. And I can carry it wherever I go inside or outside. Absolute genius product! I would advise getting the 14 oz size to leave room for creamer and less spillage.

I had never thought that a few degrees in the temperature would actually make my coffee or tea taste better. It does. You know when you make coffee, pour it into your mug and for a few minutes it is too hot, then for 2 to 3 minutes it is perfect and then too cold? Well, what if you could keep it always at that magic temperature that lasted 2 or 3 minutes? That is what Ember does for you. There are additional perks, it lets you know once the temperature is perfect, it can warm its contents even from ambient temperature if you want to and the materials are quite comfortable to interact with, they don’t change the taste of the beverage. We bought both the 14 and 10oz versions. The only difference aside from the color is that the 10oz heats up a bit faster, but that is it. Overall, if you’re constantly drinking something or going to meetings, this is the best mug to have.
