My sister got me this for Christmas and I loved it! But after 6 months it would no longer charge. I contacted support and took the picutres they required and they have not responded and it has been 2 weeks. Don't believe they have any intention to get back to me and the mug costs too much to not work after 6 months!

Great idea but the mug and company are horrible with customer service. First off received this mug as a gift. Had issues from the get go with having a stable connection. Read the instructions, watched tutorials and jumped on forums to troubleshoot and still nothing worked. Took a real deep dive by going to the company website and found out that my phone, Pixel 5 Android OS wasn't a "compatible" device but other current phones were. Reached out to customer service got the same response but was told that the mug would work without the need of an app so gave that a try. Well after a day it held a consistent temp but after it started to lose power it just reset itself and had to reinstall the app and connect it to my phone once more to reestablish the preset temp. Tried returning it after 18 days and my fiancé was denied since the return window passed. If you really want this mug do your homework because it doesnt work with all Android phones but if you're an iPhone user you're in luck because surprisingly all of their phones work.

This is a great idea, but what you actually get is a terrible product. First of all, the battery life is terrible and the charge time is to. Secondly, connectivity issues left and right with the app. Third, it says my mug is empty when it's not, so it stops warming despite having battery left. An insulated travel mug keeps the coffee hotter, for longer, for a fraction of the price. Even a plain ceramic mug keeps my coffee hot for longer than this.

It really works! Keeps coffee just the right temperature, I love it.

It only goes up to 145, which is ok, but I like my coffee at 155 - 160. The battery only lasts an hour or so unless you keep it on the charger. The cup has no insulation so beverages go cold very quickly. Overall, it works but not for a serious all day coffee fiend like me.

They are hit and miss, bought multiple ones and one works to this day and another stopped after 6 months, another had to return within weeks.

I purchased this mug two and a half years ago, another one for my wife. Mi mug is chipping on the inside, I have no idea what I am ingesting. My wife’s stopped working, the app reads 84% battery, but does not keep it hot or warm, it just goes downhill unless it is sitting on the charging cradle. I contacted Ember, they replied they needed the serial number, I sent a picture of it, they then stopped communicating with me. For this price the mug should last substantially longer. I will switch to a different brand.

Love the concept and the feel of the mug. But it's unusable due to terrible software. The app has only one star due to issues. I've had mine for 7 months and have had to repair my cup to the app every single time I use it. It was a workaround but I could use it. Now, the app won't even open. I've deleted it and reinstalled it and it still says that the app can't open and to close. I've cleared cookies I've done everything. I've contacted support. So now I have a $120 mug that cools off after a few minutes like a normal mug since I can't use the app and it will not heat without it.

This is a great idea and works well. Please invent a cold one!

The mug itself works pretty well, although it's battery life is not long. I get about 15 minutes worth of the product working before it indicates it's out of battery. Also, the software is VERY GLITCHY. My app recently stopped working because it stated that a software upgrade was needed. When I clicked to update the software on Google play, nothing happened.

Gave one of these to my wife for her birthday! She loves it!

Says 14oz. Not sure but do not buy if u use large cup on a Kurieg. Will fill to very top and hard to move or take first sip without spill. No room for cream!!! Good for a person who drinks from a pot. Doesn't last long without being on the coaster. Can't take coaster everywhere u go!!! Started drinking coffee at 7:45 this morning. It's only 9:30 and it no longer heats up. This is after a FULL charge. Not worth $130.

My daughter purchased this for me from Best Buy as a gift. If it had worked, it would be a nice product. But if you have a problem, the company does not honor their warranty and will make false assertions to avoid replacing it. I used the mug once and thought it was great. Afterward I hand washed and dried it. But the next day it would not do anything at all --- no lights, no heat, it wouldn’t connect to the app or do anything else. It was totally non-responsive. I spent hours trying all of the troubleshooting suggestions from their website including attempting to reset the mug and checking that the contacts on the base are springy and not bent. I eventually found procedures on Facebook to submit a request to Ember’s customer support. It was two weeks before I received a reply which was the first sign of poor customer service. Their email bragged about their rigorous quality testing and made the baseless accusation that I must have microwaved it and therefore the mug’s failure was not covered by warranty. They then had the nerve to offer to SELL me an “out of warranty” replacement. I do not recommend buying this or any other Ember product.
