Horrible mug for Android users

I had to reset the connection everyday and sometimes in-between each cup. This is unacceptable for how much the mug costs. The app rating on play store is 1.8 stars, ridiculous.

Not in a bad way just very hot. Unfortunately that comes at the cost of a very very short battery life for the best value you need to use the charging plate as a coaster consistently.

Posted .Hello, thank for taking the time to review our product. We understand the frustration when your drink is not set at the perfect temperature. That said, the mug does adjust temperature from 120 F to 145F. Out of the box the mug is set to 135F and if that temperature is too hot, we recommend using the app to reduce the set temperature. Similarly you should expect that the battery last around 80 min. If you are not experiencing a battery life close to that number please reach out to us at support@ember.com so we can better assist you!

I love how you have to remember to charge it fully after every use! It’s annoying. Oh and the battery barely lasts for a single use… I knew this was a gimmicky purchase but the tech is not good enough

Posted .Thank you for this feedback! The 14oz mug has a battery life of 80 minutes and we would be happy to provide some tips to increase this battery life.
We recommend using the charging coaster while enjoying your beverage, which allows the battery to be maintained while heating. We also recommend the Sliding Lids for the 14oz mug as this allows for an extended battery experience as well.
If you are looking for a longer battery, our Travel Mugs and new Tumbler have a 3 hour battery life and the Tumbler has an increase capacity of 16oz!
