It was intended as a gift for me to keep my beverages warm as I prefer to slowly dip on my tea or coffee - however, the battery life was unfortunately terrible and the unit does not charge while in use and required an app that consistently refused to pair to my phone every single time. We ended up going with NextMug that has a larger capacity, on unit controls and will remain hot as long as it's docked and contains liquid

Being home, sitting on the couch enjoying an endlessly hot cup of coffee. That’s what you get with this thing. Take it out on the deck, even in the winter! The phone app is cool too. The only downside is if you have an awesome collection of mugs, you will grow apart.
