This is the 5th Ember mug I have purchased, with three of them as gifts. They have all been a hit as gifts and I personally love using mine every day. I am a verrrryyy slow coffee drinker but this keeps your coffee or tea at the perfect temp. It may not heat up liquid from cold, but it will heat up lukewarm liquids to the perfect temperature.

I didn't know I needed this until I decided to get one. My sister and I share an office and have a coffee machine that we use to brew coffee, tea, cocoa, cider etc. I found the 10oz version of this at Best Buy on sale one day, and decided to get one for my office (It's irritating when my drinks get cold because I add cream/stir them/don't drink it all immediately). Was reluctant at first, and thought "Did I really just buy a smart drink mug?" Now I think to myself "Did I really just buy another two smart drink mugs on top of the one I originally bought?" Absolutely love this thing, and my sister loves hers for keeping her matcha hot. App is easy to use, setup is a breeze, and the quality feels sturdy/well-crafted.

Great product and love the temp control! Only wish it was a little bit bigger. 20oz maybe? Otherwise great product!

I would give it a better Star rating if the battery lasted longer. And the inside finnish didnt syart to peel already. The adjustment capabilities are truly exceptional. Temperature control is perfect for tea and coffe connoisseurs. I perchased one for myself and my wife. Even bought a travel mug. Mynonly real complain is the short battery life.

I was worried about the day I would eventually drop the mug and possibly watch it shatter. Well that day finally arrived, yesterday, dropping it directly onto my concrete driveway from about 3'. I saw it hit, expecting it to shatter, but it didn't! Still fully functioning with only a couple small scratches. I thought it was ceramic based but it appears to be metal, maybe aluminum, by looking at the scratches.

Really surprised at this Heated mug. My wife has been asking for one for a few gift occasions, and I always thought they were silly. Well I got her one for Christmas finally - and she loves it! She uses it all the time- it’s the only mug she uses at the house (still uses travel mugs). But these are so cool that I’m convinced and want one for myself. I’m going from thinking they were silly to asking for one for my birthday!!! Would expect others would be sold like me. A great gift idea as it may not be something someone would splurge on for themselves

Serious Quality & Safety Concerns – Disappointed with Ember Mug I purchased an Ember Mug and treated it with great care, but was very disappointed to find that the interior coating began chipping and flaking off over time. This raises serious concerns for me about potential toxin exposure, as I may have unknowingly ingested harmful materials. I reached out to the company with hopes of a responsible resolution—specifically requesting a replacement mug made of stainless steel or another safer, more durable material. Instead, I was offered only $32 toward the purchase of another expensive mug that could very well chip again. This response felt inadequate and dismissive, especially given the potential health risks. TOXIN ALERT – I urge others to think twice before purchasing an Ember Mug until these issues are properly addressed. Product safety and customer health should be the top priority.

Boxes for my daughter because he makes her coffee and then she gets doing stuff and then her coffee she dumps it out she's only had two sips out of it now she can finish her coffee keeps it hot

Like this mug so much, I bought the travel mug and sent one as a gift. If you like your coffee to stay hot the whole time - it is great!

I had never thought that a few degrees in the temperature would actually make my coffee or tea taste better. It does. You know when you make coffee, pour it into your mug and for a few minutes it is too hot, then for 2 to 3 minutes it is perfect and then too cold? Well, what if you could keep it always at that magic temperature that lasted 2 or 3 minutes? That is what Ember does for you. There are additional perks, it lets you know once the temperature is perfect, it can warm its contents even from ambient temperature if you want to and the materials are quite comfortable to interact with, they don’t change the taste of the beverage. We bought both the 14 and 10oz versions. The only difference aside from the color is that the 10oz heats up a bit faster, but that is it. Overall, if you’re constantly drinking something or going to meetings, this is the best mug to have.

Sure this mug is costly but it’s worth it. I love how it keeps my coffee warm and saves me trips to the microwave to reheat my cup of joe. One important thing to note is that you cannot use a metal spoon to stir your coffee. This will damage the coating of the cup. A recommendation to the manufacturer is to clearly point this out in the instruction packet, and or put a disclaimer in the specifications to avoid future issues. Based on other reviews that point out the damage shows this was often missed.

The mug itself does a good job at keeping the drinks warm, the enamel paint is peeling off after around 6 months. Not sure if its worthwhile investing in another mug to see if this happens or not.

Great looking coffee mug however aside from looks, the functionality can be a bit better. Heads up for future purchases if for whatever reason you reset the mug by pressing the bottom button intentionally or unintentionally for more than 5 secs and see the colors flash.. that does mean it's reset the mug settings and you'll also need to manually reset your Bluetooth pairing from your mobile device (meaning forgot the device and then re-add as new device) in order for it be reconnected after reset and fluid detection to work. For the longest time I could not figure out how a filled coffee mug would read as empty. With that the battery life does struggle to lasr for my two hours of heated content sitting out on desk. So be prepared to have charger ready for charging if intended to keep intended temp for longer than that.

Keeps your drink hot. I like that you're able to choose your perfect temperature. Given that I am a slow drinker, I wished the battery lasted a little longer. Overall happy with my purchase.

BestBuy Blue + Ember mug = Yes indeed !!! I use this everyday. Nothing feels a good as enjoying a consistently hot beverage during long drawn out Zoom meetings. Keep the coaster at your WFH workstation and you’ll never have to run to the microwave. ProTip(s): 1) Brew a carafe of coffee/tea and just top off your cup when you start running low. 2) The lid from Target’s $3 Room Essentials cup fits this perfectly! It keeps my tea cat hair free since my “co-worker” wants to lay on my keyboard all day LOL 3) Nix the app unless you want to be frustrated. Use it to set up your cup and preferred temp and forget it for daily use. Just check periodically for updates

Works as advertised. Made a great gift for my wife. Used the app just once to set temperature and color of light. You don’t even need to turn it on. It automatically senses there’s liquid in it and it keeps it at temperature until last drop. As others have written the enamel on inside scratches easily so don’t use metal utensils to stir your beverages. It was expensive but it gets used every day so probably worth it. Just wish I had one of my own now.

Love this mug, especially running around with the kids, massively reduces the chance of me getting back to a cold brew. Love this mug!

Love this mug! Gave it to my sister for her birthday and she turned around and gave me one for mine. I absolutely love it. I like my coffee hot and really enjoy not having to drink it quick before it gets cold as I have had to do since I started drinking coffee 50 years ago! Nothing like a leisurely cup while reading. The 14 oz mug gives you enough room to add cream. Initially my sister gave me the 10 oz which I found to small.
