Posted .Hi there, the Ember mug has an expected battery life of around 80 min off the coaster, set at 135°F, and pouring in above the set temperature. However, there are various outside factors that can also contribute to the battery life. Needs a little more Tweaking

App says 148 degrees but does feel like it when like it after using the chef thermometer the temperature is actually 138° which is the case most of the time the temperature is always about 10° less than the app on the phone says it is. After this consistently happening I decided to return it for a refund.

Saw in the reviews that this happens a lot. Tried to contact the company and got no response. Not Happy.

The package arrived open, like an open box item, with signs of having been used before. But the product itself is really bad. It is impossible to pair it with an iPhone, I mean, after a week you might end up getting it done, but the process is incredibly precarious. Then the battery last only 1 hour and it takes over 5 to charge. I really don't think the people behind this product thought this trhough.....if I can't keep my mug hot all day long, or at least long enough to finish my tea, there is no purpose to have a product like this. Bummer......totally and complete bummer......

I am sure it is a great product but I did not get to use it as I ordered online and got it delievered and it looked like the delievery drivers were playing soccer with it. The box was smashed. I open the box and what to you know the bottom of the cup where the battery is was popped out and the light just stayed on the whole time

I bought it for Christmas and used it twice and it started to smell like burnt. took it back to Best Buy and they said to contact the manufacturer directly. I sent an email explaining the issue and never heard back.

I was forced to take the cup back to the store for an exchange. I filled it with water from a measuring cup, and it was filled to the brim at 12 ounces. Either their is a packaging problem or the 14 ounces advertised is incorrect. Be careful when purchasing this item. Not recommended!
