Quickly developed rust and charging port broke off

I like my coffee hot. This thing didn’t keep it hot, unless you drink it really fast.

Bought for my Nana as a Christmas gift and she has been obsessed ever since. She even figured out the app by her self, so ease of use is great. Quality materials! Four stars because she has said it lasts around an hour (not 80 minutes) and there are cheaper alternatives that claim similar results.

Unfortunately, it would not work - would not heat up!

So far it won't stay paired with my husband's phone and randomly fails to recognize the liquid at times resulting in a cold drink. Giving it a few more days to work out the kinks before calling customer service. When it works it works great

I was skeptical about this product for a few reasons and ultimately decided not to buy it after a clear thought about how excessive this thing is. A battery powered Bluetooth coffee mug that you can’t put in the dishwasher... not to mention creating heat with a battery has got to be the least efficient thing there is. I got one as a gift and this is the review- The battery lasts only about an hour. I used to wait till my coffee was the right temp then I’d sort of down it quickly. Now I wait for it to cool down to the desired temp, then sip it and obsessively watch the battery meter in the app so I don’t wait to long to finish my cup. I use a French press and so it gets cool in there and if I fill the cup with cooler coffee, I have to dump it back into a regular mug, microwave it, transfer it back into this thing, and obsess about the remaining battery. The battery level isn’t on the same page in the app as the temp details either so that’s inconvenient. If you fill your cup with really hot coffee, the battery can decline by 10-20 % by the time it gets down to your desired temp, which is strange. That all being said, it is nice for about 30 minutes when every sip is the same temp. 3.5 outta 5 stars and I’ll round up.

Got this as a gift and was excited for it. Have been using for a couple weeks. Like most have said, it is nice and handy but could use some improvements. The battery lasts just under an hour keeping your drinks warm. Ive found thay 140F is ideal temperature for me which is ar about 85% of the max temp the cup can reach. Battery dropped about 30% in 30 min It is definitely better than keeping an open mug and your drink keeps getting cooler. I guess was expecting something like a super hyped insulated cover mug for over 2 hours (box says 180 min battery life) but im guessing thats at its lowest temperature. Still nice. Glad i got it as a gift and didnt shell out this much for it. My non-electric Yeti keeps my drinks hotter for longer but they’re covered

A great product for a coffee lover. I like to enjoy my coffee. Small sips over a long period of time. And constantly zapping it in a microwave is annoying and also changes the profile of the coffee. And the warming coasters you can find work well but are hit and miss depending on the mug you use. This holds a set temperature for over an hour if you need it to. A bit pricey but it’s pretty much the only mug I use now.

I love the color of the green mug, it is a well thought of when keeping coffee/tea warm due to it being cool fast. I just think the battery life is poor but understandable due to its size.

Great mug, keeps drinks warm. I wish the battery life was longer - better to use the phone's setting during the initial set up to link to bluetooth rather than the app. I bought a few for myself and family while it was on sale - not sure if it's worth it at full price.

Just passed two years of ownership with this mug. Best advice is to get the lid for this mug, as it will greatly extend the battery/temp control for each use! I usually got about 45-60min of temp control, however when I added the lid it extended it to over two hours!! I have noticed that the interior of the mug is now chipping enamel and leaching into my drink. I have just reached out to Ember to see what they can offer me moving forward. I will update this review when they respond!

Bought this as a Christmas present for my spouse who loves to savor coffee or bone broth as he works at his desk. He reports that the cup keeps his fuel warm at the right temperature for hours. He did note that off the electric plate however the battery won't last long. He keeps the charging plate and cup by his computer.

This mug has been a morning game-changer. As a writer, I am constantly pouring coffee to have it sit for too long. This mug keeps my coffee at a perfect temperature for hours! Easy to clean, durable, and comfortable to hold.

This cup is not for everybody. My wife likes her coffee hot and she is very happy with this product. It does require daily charging, so it takes some effort. If your priority is hot coffee, this is your product.

I love my Ember mug, but there are a few things you need to know. First, it has difficulties pairing with some phones. Check their website if you have any problems. Second, once your mug is set to a certain temperature it will keep that setting until you change it. You don't need to pair it with your phone every time you use it. When you turn it on it will go to the last temperature set. And finally, the application is okay, but I have never been able to install any updates. It goes through the process, but fails and disconnects from the application. The only thing I do is push the update notifications away and I just keep using the default application. It works just fine without updating the application and it's not a problem at all. It is nice to have a hot cup of coffee at your fingertips especially during the colder weather. You can enjoy it at your leisure and every sip is just as hot as the first. I would recommend this to people who who hate warming up their coffee over and over again because it gets cold. Enjoy!

I'm the type of person I have to experience and see something for myself. I'm a believer! This mug does everything it's suppose to do. I treated myself to this as a Christmas gift and I'm very happy with my purchase. I have taken advantage of the sales around this time of year and I'm have purchase 3 different colors. It's a winner in my eyes!

Want to preface this by saying this isn’t paid: Everything is amazingly engineered. Amazing mouthfeel, the handle is super ergonomic, diameter of the mug is perfect to hold. Great texture. Thought the tech mug thing would make it super bulky but I was totally wrong, only as bulky as any other mug. Comfortably heavy, overall elegant feel, and of course performs the task it’s designed for well, the app is great and temperature choice is so cool. Was a bit skeptical of the price but I often leave hot drinks unfinished, bought it and it exceeded every expectation and was for sure worth the money. Buy it.

Works great - keeps drinks just the right temperature. Battery life could be longer, but that’s a minor quibble. Easy to clean. Setting up the app was simple.

I bought two of these as a gift and they absolutely loved it. It was super easy to set up and keeps your drink the perfect temperature. Would recommend!
