I have owned 5 of these mugs and they are great for about the first year. A couple of them didnt last that long and I had to submit a warranty claim. Ember was good about the replacements but they have also deteriorated quickly. We do use them daily.

Gave the Ember-Temperature Control Smart Mug-14 oz to my son for a birthday gift. He loves that it keeps his coffee at just the right temperature, due to covid he's working from home and he keeps his house pretty cold in the winter. The Mug makes a perfect gift for a techy coffee aficionado.

Amazing mug. It’s great to have a hot beverage next to me without need to microwave it after sitting for a while. I like that I can set the temperature to what I like and it maintains it for me. Overall, it’s a great mug but a bit pricey.

I wasn’t sure if I would actually use this but I use it everyday at work!! I set my temperature on the app & I don’t have to worry about my coffee getting cold!

I purchased one mug as a Christmas gift for my partner and one for myself. We both love these mugs! The app is very easy to use. The mug is nice to hold; feels good in hand. Finally, our after-dinner tea is held at the right temperature while we watch TV. I highly recommend this product. A suggestion: by the 14 ounce size.

My Ember mug stopped charging and working after about 12 months. Luckily, I had Total Best Buy Protection, which replaced the product. The only surprise was a $29 deductible, I didn’t realize that was part of the plan. In hindsight, I might’ve tried the manufacturer’s warranty first, since that would’ve likely been free. Still, the replacement process at Best Buy was quick and hassle-free, and paying $29 was much better than buying a new mug at full price.

My wife loves her cup, this is the second one that i have bought from Best Buy. She accidentally microwaved the first one (I strongly recommend you don't do this - lol). But the cups work great and the store was helpful.

$129 for a cup seems pretentious and expensive, but I strongly recommend it, I almost never finish my coffee drinks when they get cold, but with this cup I enjoy it a lot more, I am getting another one for office I wish they make it a little cheaper though

Very elegant and easy to use mug. Only minor complaint is that I wish the battery would last a little longer. I set my coffee at 137 and it keeps it hot for over an hour off the charging base.

Got this for my partner as a gift and he loves it. Keeps coffee hot and is nice looking on the desk when WFH. Can't be run through the dishwasher and they recommend not using a metal spoon inside, just minor adjustments to be aware of if you're coming from a non-smart mug.

If you or a loved one are a hot beverage drinker, this is the best gift ever. I know, you are probably thinking...$150 for a mug is insane. But it's an indescribable joy. Hot coffee. For the whole cup. And for those of you who say you don't have this problem, you probably do and don't even realize it. Because this is piping hot, the whole time. Not just kind of lukewarm when you get to the bottom of the cup. Your last sip is just as good as the first. It's a great gift. It's expensive, but it's a luxury that I don't regret having in my life.

The cup is small and it’s easy to use, but the battery life is not as long as I would like for it to be. Overall, it was a good purchase though for the cost.

Very usefull but a bit expensive. I enjoy drink at golden temptature while I am playing video game. I don’t have to worry about my drink getting cold.

Purchased for my wife and she loves it. It is Elasy to use and works as advertised. A teally great product for those who don't want their hot drink getting cold.

Let's be honest - the vast majority of people don't need anything like this and it's very expensive for a coffee mug. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't love having it. It's user friendly and just works. Come back an hour later and your coffee is still at that perfect temperature without the burnt flavor you get from other coffee warmers. I do wish it used a wireless charging solution to improve water resistance, and I think a 16-18 oz size would work better. (Note that while it's 14 oz, it's really more like 12 oz of usable space unless you fill it to the brim) It's also worth mentioning that the last few sips can sometimes get much hotter, but that's just because there is so little liquid left so any heat added will jump the temperature more. Not a big deal, but a minor annoyance.
