    Delivered to wrong house called within 5 minutes - picture is not even on my street. Called delivery driver said he did not know where he delivered and can’t go back. Talked BB on chat and no response.

    My charging puck had died. I supplied my serial number, receipt and pictures like they requested. They said my mug was 6mo. out of its warranty. But my BB receipt clearly showed it was still under warranty! Since then, they have summarily ignore all my emails and messages.

    I bought this mug as a gift for a family member for Christmas & they absolutely hated it. The app is atrocious & does not stay connected to the mug.

    Great for keeping drinks warm if you dont care about controlling through Bluetooth. But if you want to connect it to your phone and have full control through the app, be prepared to disconnect and reconnect it a dozen or so times before it takes an update and stays connected. Support did nothing beyond sharing the online troubleshooting steps that i already tried. Still, really nice to have a hot cup of coffee for about and hour and a half.

    Good product. Keeps beverages warm for hours. The Ember App is ok. Had issues with charging first time. Did a reset and removed from device. After that, all is well with mug

    The item is a cool concept but executed very poorly, the design is very small and the cup is very ugly. The heating process is very slow and your drink will be cold by the time it heats up.

    I ended up taking this back coffee tasted tinny and the darn thing just didn’t work right for $150

    I had high hopes for this to keep my tea warm while I work. What I found was a product that is just not quite ready yet. First issue is with the firmware, where the app cannot complete. Repeated attempts to complete the firmware upgrade all resulted in failure. Second issue (perhaps fixed in the new firmware, who knows) is that the heater stays on when the cup is essentially empty. Causing whatever is left to burn until it's fully gone. I paid too much to be dealing with issues that should have been resolved before the unit went on sale. Back to BB it goes.

    Great idea, terrible product

    I love the idea of a mug keeping my warm beverage hot at every sip. It does hold charge and it does keep my beverage hot(or cold). The problem is the connection between mug and application. I am unable to update it. At 50% an error pops up and you have to start the whole process over with reconnecting mug to your smartphone. Ember needs to teoubleshoot and fix this simple issue on their own platform. As of now i would not recommend this mug until issues have been resolved.

    Malfunctioning out of the box

    Got a dud. Doesn't keep beverage at temperature you set, yet it claims that the temperature has been reached. Also, you'd have a tug-of-war with the app to manually set the temperature and it would set itself back to "off." It would do this 2-4 times. Quite annoying since the app is the only way to set your desired temperature. I have had a v.1 mug for some years and have been happy with that one. If it worked the ease of use would be great, but given all the time spent to troubleshoot why this mug wasn't working proprely, including emails to Ember support--who are very nice, BTW--ease of use for this little dud is spectacularly poor.

    This mug is not worth the $$$. Had it for less than a year and it's not working properly. The battery life it horrible.

    nice, well made, but overpriced for what it does, unless you’re keeping it on the base it doesn’t keep it hot long enough. you can get the same result with a cheap warmer and regular mug.

    App was wonky but hot coffee is nice

    Android app had some problems updating the mug, luckily i had an ipad and was able to get it going. Nice to have hot coffee anytime you sip it.

    App needs work. After you setup you dont need the app. Wish there was an even larger size. But have had no problems. Would buy again.

    A better option than the 12 oz version and with a thicker wall which hopefully makes it more durable. And the blue mug was cheaper!?

    Just a warning to anyone considering dropping $100+ on this mug. I bought this at the end of may 2020 and it stopped working in late August. It will no longer hold a charge, so now its a $130 non heating mug......great. I am now on my 5th or 6th week waiting for ember to send me a replacement. Not the kind of experience that makes me want to support this company in the future....Buyer Beware!

    Absolutely nonfunctional, due to perhaps the worst software I've ever seen. The app has 1.6 stars out of 5.0 in the app store. They don't bother working on it, hoping you'll keep the mug and just put it in the cabinet – I'm happy to return it to deprive them of their ill-gotten gain.
