    Warranty useless.

    Received as Christmas present, only worked for 6 weeks. Summitted warranty claim. Their reply was "We are currently experiencing longer reply times." I see some people on facebook have no help after 3 months! No help from Bestbuy either.

    The charging coasters always stop working and ember will give you 50% off a new one...Really after i payed for it.. Same thing happened 3 times.

    I received this cup as a Mother's Day gift and loved the idea. I waited about a week before trying it. Setup was simple and I loved the idea of slow sipping my morning coffee at a controlled temperature. Having read the reviews I was very careful with my new gift ensuring the bottom did not get wet abs even waiting just in case before putting on saucer again. The next week I lost the pairing, went through all of the suggested trouble shooting, and nothing, notta, zip. The cup no longer pairs with my phone. Son and daughter-in-law purchased from Best Buy which is why I'm dropping the unfavorable review here.

    BUYER BEWARE - NO WARRANTY SUPPORT

    Ember does not support their products. Their support will not get back to you despite claiming to have a warranty. You have been warned that you arr about to spend $100 on something that is likely going to become just a regular coffee mug.

    My dad didn't have a want/need for this mug. Tried to return it and technically missed the return cutoff by 2 days and they wouldn't budge. wouldn't even give me store credit. all around terrible customer service. it was 2 days. for that reason 1 star.

    the worst at syncing the mug to the app

    I love the idea and was so excited to get this for Christmas, but they need to work out all the bugs with the mug and app before it's worth paying this much money. It is the worst about disconnecting from the app, and even when it shows your mug on the screen, it says it can't connect. And the problem is, it doesn't keep anything warm when it's not connected! It has totally stolen my peaceful moment with my coffee trying again and again, and again to get it to work. I even returned one already, thinking it might be just that mug.. but the new one is doing the same stuff.. so you still have to pour it into a micro-safe dish and reheat :(

    The mug is great. The app is not. As of 11/30/23 update, app will not open. Mug is useless without the app
