Set the temp on the app and it will keep the coffee that temp for around an hour. Make sure not to set it on the charger while the bottom is wet or it will carode the metal. Also, there's a known defect where the charging contacts can break down and fail to stick up high enough to make contact and charge the mug

My mom loves to watch the morning news. While watching she often has to stick her coffee cup in the microwave. Now she can pour a big cup because i got the 14oz and enjoy it without having to get up to microwave it. Her coffee stays just like when she first poured it.
