This is perfect for working in a cold area (basement). This works as described. The app is easy to use.

I purchase this for my coffee-drinking girlfriend. She is a slow coffee drinker and has to reheat her coffee in the microwave several times each morning. I thought this would be the perfect gift, and she loved it. It works exactly as advertised. The cup stays warm and there is no more use of the microwave for this task.

I never knew I liked my coffee consistently hot until I had this mug. Now when I’m not using it, I noticed the temperature declining without it. I absolutely love it! Super convenient. Have bought a second one for my office. 

I really wanted to like this mug and it's possible I got a defective one but after only 4 charges, it was not charging properly. One of the small pins on the base of the charger was not working properly. No water was ever near it, so it was a bummer for sure. I ended up getting a mug from another company and it's been great.

I Purchased this item because I’m on zoom all day and drink a lot of coffee. I would make a carafe and microwave each mug full to make it hot before drinking- reheating often if I didn’t drink it fast enough and it got cold. I thought this mug would be the PERFECT solution. Here’s why it wasn’t: 1- I always started with hot coffee (pour over coffee) brewed directly into the cup. Although it kept the coffee at the desired temperature, the mug lasted an average of 45-50 minutes when it was advertised to last about 2 hrs. My average meeting is 90 minutes. 2-the mug took too long to recharge, so I took to keep it in the base (plugged in) whenever I wasn’t drinking. Even though I took sips often, it would still go into ‘sleep’ mode, the coffee would get cold and I’d have to restart the mug again and wait several minutes for it to get hot. 3- sometimes it wouldn’t restart… and I’d have to exit zoom to look at the app, which would show “empty” even though the cup was more than 1/2 full. So I guess it’s not good for continuous use. It did these things so often, I returned it. So I'm back to nuking my coffee when it gets cold. It’s a hassle but it works… and it doesn’t cost $120!

Bought this for a family member and he was super happy! Keeps coffee/drink very warm even after a while!

This is a must for anyone who microwaves their coffee 2-3 times before they finish it. It’s also a perfect gift because it’s one of those things that you wouldn’t buy for yourself, but you would love to own. I also feel like a baller whenever anyone asks me about it at work.

Honestly, it is one of the best items I have ever purchased. I don't think I will ever go with out this mug again.

This is great. I used to drink my coffee fast. Or I’d get distracted and have cold coffee, Now I’m not in a rush to drink it, and if I get distracted for a bit, it’s still warm for me!

Ok so a lot of reciews of these come from people wirh unrealistic expectations. It does everything that it is advertised to do. If you want something warm 2+ hours in great condition after you make it? Put it in the mug, and leave it on the charger and you have hot perfect beverage almost forever.

Love this mug. For those that like a hot cup of coffee or tea with out constantly heatingbin the microwave this cup is gor. I truly do not know how i have lived with out it. Best buy customer service is 100% awesome Get it you will love it.

I was reluctant to buy this mug. I have been looking into getting one for a few years. Once the 14 oz version came out I was even more interested. So far the Ember meets and exceeds my expectations. It is great to have a hot cup of coffee all the way to the last drop. It was even a little weird to not have to drink cold coffee on my last sip. I have only had this mug for a short time but I am very pleased.

These e-cups are wonderful but they will spoil you. Unless I have my e-cup, nothing ever stays warm anymore.

This cup is both intuitive to use and set up, and does what it says! As a busy household, many a cup of hot stuff (tea/coffee, chocolate) has been thrown out for going cold. This keeps it toasty and drinkable for hours without it going stale. Would recommend.

This mug is AWESOME! My wife never finishes her coffee on the first go around. She always has to heat it up in the microwave later on. I purchased this mug for her and now she never uses anything else. This keeps ANY beverage hot and always ready to drink

My wife and I always fight the temperature of our coffee in the mornings. We no longer have to do that when getting distracted with the kids and their activities. All I have to do is place it on the charger and come back hours later to a perfectly hot cup of coffee... It's so awesome! Be sure to blow out the bottom since water likes to hide in the grooves (it's waterproof but just to be sure).
