This works amazing and is great for tea, coffee... and hot toddies ;) Maybe only one downside is that it lasts for just about one drink worth and will need a charge before having another.

Does exactly what its supposed to do. Keeps my coffee hot and is easy to clean/use. The only 2 compliants I have is that when the level of coffee in the cup gets low, it seems to overheat it which causes a bit of burnt taste and that the Ember app on Android will sometimes just not work correctly, requiring disconnect/reconnect or uninstall/reinstall. The app isn't needed all the often as you can just set your desired temperature and leave it.

I've had my Ember for about 2 months and use it everyday! As someone who always has to get up and leave their desks, it can take up to 2 hours for drink my coffee. I would normally come back to lukewarm coffee which no one likes. Now my coffee is always at the right temperature. The one drawback is that the battery only lasts about 80 minutes and at which point it stops heating. Not that big of a deal for me as I have the charger right on my desk, but if your charger is not near by that might be an issue.

I wasn’t sure about this at first but now I see the light! I feel that I drank more coffee before owning this mug because I was going back for hot coffee- This is no longer a problem now because I can enjoy my coffee without worrying about it getting cold. Quality I’d good, time will tell if this purchase holds up over time. I would not recommend getting the smaller size mug as this one barely meets my needs as it is. The option to purchase an additional charging base would be great if it were at an affordable price point which leads me to my deduction of one star based on cost alone.

The app is very easy to setup. Works well and keeps coffee warm. Only con is it isn't dishwasher safe.

Every sip is like the first, fresh, warm and freaking exhilarating. This cup is amazing. It truly provides "the perfect sip" every time. Only problem is the battery goes dead relatively quickly... approx 90-120 minutes. I'm a 2-3 cup guy. The first 1-2 cups go down in the first two hours I'm up. Then I kind of slowly drink the 2nd or 3rd cup until about 10:00 -11:00 am.

Got the Ember Mug 2 for my mom’s birthday because she works from home and only drinks her coffee when it’s piping hot. It’s been awesome. She sets her ideal temp, and the mug keeps it there without having to reheat. The battery lasts long enough for a full morning session too. If you love hot coffee and tend to leave it sitting while working, this mug is totally worth it.

This is my 3rd mug in about 6 years. I use them heavily so the battery starts to wear out after about 2 years. I've never had any problems with the app, although once I sync and set my preferences, I never use the app again. I don't understand why you would want or need to. I have found the Ember mugs to be exceptionally reliable and have recommended to many family and friends.

I received this item as a gift. It has changed the way I enjoy coffee each day. I don't know if I'll ever be able to use another mug again. It works perfectly at keeping my coffee at just the right temperature. I have found the App to be very helpful and easy to use in setting how hot I would like my coffee to stay at. This mug even heats my coffee up after I've added cream! I can't say enough about how happy I am with my purchase. I am now working to convince everyone in my office to get one too!! It's a luxury you will enjoy!

I have wanted one of these for years and did not want to spend the money. I work from home and end up warming up my coffee multiple times a morning due to meetings. I finally pulled the plug and am so happy I did. I love the fact that it keeps my coffee the perfect temperature until I am finished, and it is also very easy to clean.

Expensive, but it does exactly what it promises. I was able to buy mine in the BB sale, despite wanting one for months just couldn't justify full price. Super easy to set up and the phone app lets you monitor progress and status. Value for money - depends on your point of view, but keeping your hot drink hot - brilliant!!!

I bought this mug for my boyfriend because before he would complain about his coffee getting cold while he was working and I figured this would be the perfect solution and he loves it. The app is amazing because it tells you the temp of the beverage so you know when it’s too hot or perfect temp!

Docked a star for the price, but if you're willing to spend the money, this mug is amazing! Nothing like having hot coffee at your desired temp for hours if you choose (by using the charger as a base). Using silicone spoons to stir due to the endless number of peeling reviews out there, but no issues so far

I bought this for my wife 2 months ago. She drinks her coffee rather slow and it always got cold before. Now using the Ember Mug, she easily controls the coffee temperature via her iPhone. Now it never gets cold! She only uses it once a day (morning), so she has never ran out of battery life while drinking. I would recommend the large mug, she usually makes a cappuccino with 2 shots in it and it’s barely big enough. I would have regretted getting the small one.

Since my family got me one of these for Father's Day a couple years ago I can't use anything else. I usually drink coffer throughout the day, and I nurse it. That normally means cold coffee, but this thing is the answer to that, My only complaint is that the battery doesn't last that long (keep a charge plat near) and if you use metal spoons to stir you will damage the ceramic coating on the cup. I have gone through three of these now, but I won't live without it.

Mother's Day replacement for white Ember that bit the dust after two years of HEAVY USE. Wife LOVES LOVES LOVES her Ember and wouldn't drink coffee any other way. Blue Ember on sale for a price I've never seen before. Easy pickup and perfect for wife for Mother's Day.

The Ember mug works well for tea, and there is a setting for green tea, which is what I normally drink in the morning. The mug keeps the tea at the temperature that I prefer all day. Without the charging base, the battery goes out in about an hour, so I keep the base plugged in and the mug keeps the charge all day. One negative is my Android phone does not keep the blue tooth connection.

My first Ember served well for years and I hope this one will also I like my coffee hot to the last drop.
