The mug is very nice and keeps the drinks nice and warm. The App, however, is terrible. Just read the reviews (1.5 on Play store). It will not stay connected to the mug and firmware updates constantly crash. For the price we paid for this mug, we would expect full functionality.

Poor customer service response

I have purchased 3 of these mugs and all 3 had an issue with the pin on the charger pad getting stuck down and no longer working. Ember customer support responded immediately to the first 2 and sent replacement charger pads right away. The 3rd mug is about a year and a half old and has both the charger pad issue and it also no longer charges. I reached out to Ember support over a month ago and have followed up with them multiple times and they have not responded at all. I would expect a mug that costs almost $200 to last longer than a year and a half. I'm not sure what happened with their Customer service, but it went from great to abysmal. I would not recommend this product due to product quality issues, lack of customer service response and a very quirky app that constantly disconnects.

My coffee would cool down as normal and really could feel the cup heating until maybe the last few ounces.
