We have two Ember smart mugs and an Ember travel mug, and we love them all. This one has a somewhat larger capacity than the original, which is nice since the bottom contains the battery and does not go as deep as you would think by looking at the cup. Great convenience for keeping your coffee warm.

Battery life seems to be less than anticipated are’s 135 degrees, but as long as you’re using the coaster it’s amazing. Says not to use a metal spoon, as it would damage the ceramic coating... don’t really have a rubber or plastic spoon, so tough to mix in sugar/creme as needed.

A must for coffee drinkers! I normally sip on my coffee while enjoying some kind of bread. My biggest annoyance was my coffee getting cold. This is the answer. Keeps my coffee for a warm 142 degrees. You wont regret it.

Is a really great quality mug and helps the drinks keep very warm and hot And does not allow them to get cold. functionality of the app is amazing also!

I got it for my wife and she opened the day of so I got her another one for her work and she said she used it and it almost burned her mouth so it dose keep drinks warm.

Got this for my mom and she loves it. She is a hot coffee drinker and she can nurse one cup of coffee for hours. This keeps her coffee warm all day. I bought this when it was on sale but I’d probably buy it at full price. I recommend this product. The app is pretty user friendly. My mom is in her 70s and has no problem using the app.

This mug is exactly what I needed for work. I love coffee, but when I get busy at work it always goes cold. This mug keeps my coffee at a perfect temperature all morning.

This is must have if you are living in colder region… this will make sure the last sip off coffee taste like a first sip. Don’t worry about the price. It is a good investment.

I love it so much I purchased a 2nd one a week later. Just so convenient not having to heat up my coffee with me being a slow sipper. All my other mugs are obsolete now.

I don't like cold coffee! I spent the money to buy this cup, in the copper color, for me and my boyfriend. Even when a repair guy kept talking about whatever, my mind was on my coffee. When he finally left, my coffee was still hot. I was very pleased.

Bought this as a late Christmas present for myself. This mug works great for coffee and tea! Very pleased with how it keeps my beverage hot to the last sip. Works so well that my husband ordered one, too. We each picked a color so we can identify whose mug is whose.

Actually works. I love how it keeps coffee hot indefinitely on the charger so if your sitting at the desk… it’s always hot. While not on the charger, it last a little over and hour but still hot and the about the 1.5 hour mark, it starts to cool down. It’s worth it so get it.

As with many smart devices, I think the mug performs its function very well but the app needs a bit of work. I appreciate the features offered by the app (multiple temperature settings, etc.), but it consistently becomes disconnected from my phone when the app "forgets" the mug's configuration. When this happens I have to press and hold the bottom button to enter bluetooth pairing mode, which is made more frustrating when the mug has already been filled with coffee. Additionally, the app has been prompting me to complete a firmware update, but stalls out near the tail end of the install and never completes. Maybe if we could complete the firmware update then the disconnection bug would be resolved, but I guess we'll never know.
