They are not something you'd usually buy for yourself but once you have one, it's hard to live without it. The mug has been pretty much trouble free, except for some occasional Bluetooth connection issues, but this hardly matters unless you change the temperature often. I did have the coating peel off on my first mug, but Ember was easy to work with and they sent over a replacement promptly. Would gladly recommend to anyone who enjoys a hot beverage!

I have to fight with getting it to respond or have to pair it because it loses connection on a regular basis. It's also fixated on the temperature of 135 because it keeps going back to that no matter what I set. I can set it to 137 minimize the app and reopen and it back at 135. When the animation is working showing what temperature it working towards I can see it going right past what I set and settling on 135. And that's when the animation is work which isn't that often. Support had we reset everything from scratch but still same results. I really want to like this mug but as time goes by I just want to smash it against the wall. Especially at this price point it very disappointing.

Good Concept But Needs Work

Off the coaster/charger it only holds temp for an hour. Connection gets lost still at times. I wish the connection stays constant. Cannot update software.

I received mine for Christmas and have been using it every day since. The mug has a little bit of weight to it and is made of good quality. Would recommend to others.

Seeing that she's a cancer survivor I was concerned for her health. She's not very tech so it took her awhile to set it up but now she loves it and wants one to have at work, if she ever gets back to the office (COVID).
