Not Worth It!

Tried all steps to reset and nothing works! May have been a bad cup but definitely won’t recommend to anyone specially for this price tag.

Good but not great

The temperature keeps the tea "too warm" it does it go low enough for her to drink it comfortably, and the 10oz is wayyyy to small. Get the 14 it's a better buy.

Not what we expected

Cup had difficulty holding temperature of coffee when cup was more than half full. As coffee was in cup for reasonable amount of time the cup seemed to heat reasonably well, but the creamer and honey would clump/gather/burn to the inside of the cup. Might not hurt anything but looked rather unappetizing.

Cooled coffee after being made

My wifes ideal coffe drinking temperature and the cups capabilities were not compatible. Great for brewing tea but not if you like drinking piping hot coffee.

When it comes down to it, we wanted to make a product that not only works properly but also lasts between 1-2 hours. In future versions, technology will improve, and we will continue to improve! Through test studies, a majority of the customers enjoy their teas and coffee no hotter than 145°F. BUT now that the Ember is out in the wild, we can take this feedback to make future updates.
We do appreciate your valued feedback and hope you and your wife can still enjoy the Ember drinking experience.
Bad cup of tea

It won't complete any updates. It's always a crap shoot if I can get it to heat my tea. Today, it did not. I tried pairing to which is just kept spinning that it was connecting, never stopped. The Ember website is worthless because it doesn't really get into any really detailed issues. I hate it but it was working for a few weeks so didn't return it. Today is the 30 day mark for returning it to Ember but I don't think they will accept it since it will be post marked tomorrow ( which is Monday). What a waste of money!

Horrible purchase

The paint on the cup peels !!

This happened before the year was up but I waited too long to address so now the warranty will not cover it. I’m literally a year and one week from purchase.
