This is a terrible product. It never worked consistently. Not worth it.

Gave it as present for new year. Doesn’t control temp and my wife hates it. We wanted to return it bu missed the date

There was a couple of issues related to the app for this mug. First, the app kept requesting access to my contacts which was a real security concern for me. Second, after installation of the app, I could not get this mug to sync with my Pixel android phone. I was finally able to after several reboots and app reinstalls. The mug may be ok (will find out) but the software was not.

while i hardly use it it keeps my coffe at the perfect temperature however not great for use outside of home. its battery doesnt last more than a couple of hours and it does not fit in most cup holders however for a work at home or office job where you can keep it perpetually charged its great.

This has saved wasting coffee. It stays perfectly hot for hours while in working. No more cold coffee and regret when you dump it

I am the type of person who orders their coffee extra hot in hopes that it stays warmer longer so I went out and bought this mug and holy cow my life had changed. It is so easy to use and keeps my coffee warm for hours. I really like how the temperature is controlled by an app because it makes it easily manageable. It is also super light weight and when it is heating it does not feel warm at all so I can hold the mug without burning my hands. Brought the cup as a Christmas present for my husband … doesn’t work. Coffee stays hot for maybe an hour then need to transfer to another cup to heat in microwave. Very disappointed

Works as intended! I have to get used to how hot I want my coffee...Only complaint? Battery life is kinda low. Best to plug in near your workstation.

I got the v1 of this mug for my mom for Mother's Day, and she seemed to enjoy it so much that she got me the v2 for Christmas. This mug is amazing. There are a lot of complaints on the app that they've had trouble maintaining connection with the mug in order to control it, but thus far I've had no problems whatsoever. The commenters may be talking about the previous version of the mug. I used to love to drink tea, but I usually had it on my desk while playing games on my PC and sometimes I would get so focused on what I'm playing I would completely forget about my tea until fifteen minutes later. By then it was cooled down and unpleasant, and I was sick of having to microwave my tea over and over. This mug has proven to be a HUGE convenience. I'm drinking two cups of tea a day again and I'm so happy to be back in the habit. I can sit at my computer for hours and drink the same cup of tea without getting up every 20 minutes to microwave it. It stays at the perfect temperature I enjoy my drinks at (anywhere between 130 and 135 degrees, if anyone who's looking to buy wants a ballpark of a good temp), and the app has a built in timer for steeping. One of the best things about the app is that it tracks the temperature of your drink and tells you when it's reached your desired setting, so I never have to burn my tongue again trying to gauge if it's ready to drink. I'd recommend this to anyone who drinks a hot beverage on the regular at home. The only downside is that I have so many cute mugs at my house, and I never use them anymore because this mug is so top notch.

This mug makes cold coffee a thing of the past. I personally drink black coffee and always struggled with either burning my mouth or drinking lukewarm/cold coffee. The Ember keeps the coffee at the perfect temperature for me. Two gripes with this product though. First, if you're keeping the coffee warm, the battery is gonna go kind of fast. You'll definitely need to charge it while drinking your coffee if you're someone who has a cup of brew with you all day. Second, is the app, it's a bit of a nightmare to use. The mug will disconnect from a very short range and doesn't use the standard Bluetooth connection function on your phone. It NEEDS the app to connect to anything, which is bad if you separate your phone and coffee for any amount of time, as you'll have to hold down the power button on the bottom of the mug and repair it to your ember app. I'm overall very happy with the mug though, the material is nice, it helps cool the coffee faster, and keeps it warm and enjoyable to drink.

Lukewarm coffee? What’s that? You never knew you needed this but once you have it, your coffee experience will never be the same. I use mine everyday. Tip: set your temp and forget it. Only like the app for notification and updates / get an extra charging coaster if you can / get the 14oz / Pro tip: if you have a travel mug lid that fits, use it on this cup esp if you are outside or away from the coaster. It will keep you coffee bug free (gnats aren’t my kind of protein -lol) and help maintain the temp potentially extending the time between charges

Pretty good. It definitely keeps the liquid warm when on the cradle but after about an hour my coffee tastes burnt. I am in and out of my office all morning so I do leave my coffee there for several minutes at a time. However, it does the job.

This cup is worth the purchase to keep your drink warm or cold in the perfect temperature you want. User Friendly and durable

I got this for my Mom for Christmas and she loved it. She’s always leaving her coffee sitting around the house and it gets cold so then she has to warm it up in the microwave. She loved that fact that she doesn’t have to worry about her coffee getting cold anymore!

Absolutely love this mug!! It keeps my coffee and tea warm for a long time! I did have some issues initially getting it to connect to my phone, but, once it did, it's been great ever since! I do wish it was just a little bigger, otherwise, it's definitely great! Need another charger stand so I can take it to different levels in my house without worrying about losing charge.

Amazing. My wife nurses her coffee in the morning and usually ends up reheating it a couple time. This mug does exactly what it says it does, keep the coffee at your desired temperature for over an hour. It loses a star because for the price I wish they lasted longer than 2 years but she likes it so much I had to repurchase.

Every time I take a sip of my coffee it’s absolutely the perfect temperature. Best cup of coffee down to the last drop. Now I don’t have to reheat my coffee a million times. Thank you Ember!!!!
