Like most of us these days, I am working from home and using coffee cups instead of travel mugs. Naturally, I am a slow drinker, and I hated that my coffee would always get cold before I could finish it. Then I found the ember 10 oz mug. I'll admit, the price is high, BUT, for me, it has ended up being well worth the price. Ever since buying this mug, I have finished my coffee and teas without any waste. For me, the less than desirable battery life doesn't bother me. Because I work from a desk, I am able to leave the cup on the charging pad which will keep my drinks the perfect temperature all day. If I don't have the mug on the charging pad, I am able to get over an hour of 140 degree coffee or tea. I liked this product so much that I ended up buying one for my mother as a gift and will likely buy the travel mug in the near future.

Im always skeptical on things like this but i got it with my totaltech picks cause it was the best deal. After I linked it to the app I made some hot chicken broth in the mug. Right after my first sip, doggo wanted to go for a walk. Come back from the walk about 20 min later and it was still just as hot. I actually wish it could be just a little hotter than 145, maybe 150, but its still hot. Highly recommend

The cup is durable and has a nice finish. Holds a charge and heat well. I use it daily. Only wish it was a little larger in capacity. Will most likely purchase the larger version with lid.

Design is sleek and it connects easily to the app. It definitely can keep tea warm for hours when plugged in. It takes a while, probably 10-15 mins, for a hot tea (~200F) to be reduced to drinking temperature (~135F). So it's about the same as leaving it in a normal cup. It also can't hold that much liquid; definitely holds less liquid than a regular size ceramic cup.

I love having a warm cup of tea at my desk in the mornings - all year long. Easy to use and clean.

I got my mom this cup for mothers day and she literally hasn't used another cup since. She says it keeps it at just the right temp and loves how neat it is design wise.

I have Used it everyday for over a year before I decided to write a review. Expensive but after long time use decided it was well worth the cost and will replace my Ember if and when it stops working.

This is my second Ember, which I bought to supplement the one I have. On the days I want two cups of coffee, sometimes I don't want to wait for one recharge before I start my second cup. On the charging pad, it will keep coffee warm all day, but off the pad, the limit is about 90 minutes. The thing I like best is that I get to set the temperature I want through the Ember app.

If you're used to large mugs, do not think that 10oz is not large enough. After unpacking, I was initially tempted to return it because it looked small but it is just perfect. As someone who decided to reduce caffeine intake, I couldn't be happier: this is an ideal mug for hot drinks. Since coffee stays hot, I drink 2 cups instead of 8. How did I live without it? I love everything about this mug and if it continues to perform well, I will get the version for the car.

This mug, while pricey, is a fantastic addition to your desk if you like to savor your coffee over time. It keeps it nice and hot and is super easy and intuitive to use.

Granted. I never really used it before I was pregnant or had my baby. Now that I am a busy mom. Constantly using it. Especially when I am trying to do all chores and handle a baby. There are times when I do forget about my drink. It would suck when I used a regular mug. Constantly having to reheat. With this mug, i am able to do everything, even have moments I forget I made tea or coffee and when I am finally able to sit down, I can enjoy it hot still. Granted, if its not on the charger, it will die before I can get to it and start to cool down. But i always leave mine on the charger and its great. 10/10 recommend.

If you're a slower coffee drinker like me, this is the perfect solution for keeping your coffee warm or hot the entire time. I usually sip on my coffee for an hour (sometimes more) and this cup does a great job at keeping it hot. You can set the temperature you want in the smart app and the cup will do everything for you. Easy to clean and return to the charger for later or the next day. I liked it so much that I purchased one for my son to drink his hot chocolate during the winter.

Didn’t think I needed to keep my coffee warm because I’ve always been fine with drinking it after it goes cold, but after using my Ember mug for about a month now, I appreciate the constant warmth — especially during this cold winter. Paired easily with the App on my phone, and easy to choose the temperature setting. I’ve been careful to take care of the mug by using a silicone spatula for stirring (metal spoons can cause cracking in the “ceramic” coating) and rinse and dry it afterwards to avoid coffee staining. The only change I would make is buying the next size up because I learned 10 oz doesn’t allow room for creamer.

Keeps one cup at desired temperature but needs recharging for another cup.

I love the fact that this mug keeps my drink warm (to the temp I want it at) for up to almost 1.5 hours (yes I drink slow). The one downfall is it’s a little on the small side but it works for me. It works great though and I like it.
