    In theory this is a great product but it does not work. It randomly shuts off while it's supposed to be heating, so your coffee is never hot. It really sucks and is dissapointing.

    I was very excited to buy this for my spouse since she's a heavy tea drinker. However. The mug wouldn't sync. Multiple factory resets and it finally worked. The mug has never recognized there was liquid (145 F) in it and reads as empty, even after multiple factory resets. We use C in our house instead of F, and even though the option to switch is visible, the app will not allow you to click it. Multiple additional resets and app uninstalls/reinstalls without results. The only recommendations for fixing any issues are the same: factory reset. But that doesn't correct how broken this item is. Such a disappointment.

    stopped working after a couple of month, i live the idea though but implementation is not durable enough to justify the price.

    Charging plate gets oxidation too fast

    The metal-ring in the base-plate that charges the coffee-cup gets corrosion or oxidation to fast (1-2months) due to washing or coffee spills, but it is supposed to be water resistant. Once it oxides, unfortunately it stops charging the cup.

    What is the warranty on these

    I purchased this on May 22, 2022. On Jun1 1st 2023 it is not working. Just a tad over a year. I cannot find info on the warranty. For the price of these they should last longer than a year. Not happy at all.

    Got one as a present. It would not recognize that there is coffee in it after pairing it with my phone. Exchanged it for another one. The coffee would not get to the desired temperature. Cons: expensive, app needs work, flaws in design and execution, very bulky charger. Pros: looks cute.

    Needed to buy a GoPro in a matter of hours for my work. I went to the Deer Park store and it Took 15-20 minutes for a sales person to come with a key to get the GoPro I wanted out of the glass case. Afterwards, I waited in a line for ten more minutes to check out. I’d like to give brick and mortar stores my business more often but this makes it hard.

The Ember is designed to stabilize an already hot drink down to your specific set temp (so it's not too hot or too cold) and isn't designed to heat up liquid - for best results, we recommend pouring in hotter than your set temp, around 165°F and above.     Look's nice but, does not make the liquid in cup hot. Luke warm at best. I got it for my Mom to keep her morning cup of coffee hot. For her it was not even close. Barely warm.
