My wife has a hybrid work schedule: 40% at home 60% in office. I got her both a 14oz mug and the travel mug. The travel mug works flawlessly in the 2-3 months we've had it. And the travel mug has touch-senesitive contols on its body so you don't have to download the app to use and adjust it. The 14oz mug, meanwhile, can only be controlled through the app (other than its power button on the bottom) and is great when it works, but for some reason has to be re-paired upon each use with the app and can at times take up to 2-3 minutes of troubleshooting before it reconnects to the phone app, (e.g. putting it into pairing mode one or a few times before it connects, or sometimes even requiring a factory reset before it pairs with the app.) Both the travel and regular mug versions are unnecesaey luxuries, but boy, do they serve their purpose and make you feel like you have a luxury product (especially the travel mug, but the regular mug too when it works.) For reference, both my wife and i have recent Samsung Galaxy S-series Android phones, so you may or may not have have the same experiences with these products and your phones connecting as we did if you use different devices with the Ember app.

I love my Ember mug (14oz) and I was excited for the Ember Travel Mug but… idk I think I prefer the cup over the travel mug. It’s more difficult to clean because it’s narrow and I’m worried that under the lid it isn’t cleaning too well because of the unreachable/unseen space. But on the plus.. it still keeps that drink hot just like I love my coffee

Great cup battery will last around 3 hours.. Wish it would last longer.. Does what it suppose to to do.

I really had high hopes for this travel mug. I an sadly disappointed and this is do to the short life span of the battery battery on my mug depletes in about a hour and a half other then that the mug does keep liquids hot as advertised for a short period if traveling it is recommended to buy the travel charger for your vehicle otherwise you will def be traveling cold after a short while

Solid coffee thermos. Not worth 200 but if you can get on discount and understand that this isn’t going to keep your coffee hot all day you’ll be satisfied. If you do plan to use for your coffee all day know that you’ll have to use the charging coaster throughout the day to keep it hot. As long as your temper expectations that the battery will last 2-3 hours keeping it piping hot you’ll be fine.

Now the price point when its notnon sale is steep in my opion. I did get this for my GF on sale and its aorth it then. I wish they had a 14-16oz version but this works just fine. Easy setup, keeps it very hot for hours and great quality’

Keeps my favorite beverages hot for a decent amount of time. Great quality mug. A bit pricey but I've used other types and they really dont compare th Ember. It's in a class by itself.

Outstanding mug with temperature control that keeps your coffee just right. I can in no means drink warm coffee, it has to be hot or either cold (ice drink). This travel mug helps keep my coffee at 140 degrees. The battery life is great compared to the previous editions of the mug. I get anywhere from 2.5-3 hours of usage without the base plate. With the base plate, I can go all day if needed. Spill proof, comfortable in the hand when holding it and connects to your digital world. I can control the temperature from the mug or my cell phone. Worth the price in gold if you like your coffee always hot. Would recommend buying.

Great mug travels well. keeps coffee hot. battery lasts about 2 Hours. Need to be careful with the lid, it will break, only press in the middle of the lid to open.

It's so convenient to keep a drink hot as desired when travel, however, it keeps the drink hot only up to 2 hours and it needs to be recharged.

I have several ember products, and they are all great. The battery life on this one is great and with the car charger, i can have hot coffee on the go all day long. My only complaint is the lid on this cup is incredibly difficult to clean

Love it. Easy to set up abd use.Keeps coffee warm/hot. Only wish I didn't have to buy the car charger for it since its called and is a traveling mug. For price one should have been included.

Works as advertised. You set your temp and the coffee is hot until your last drop. I like how I can program my name in the scrolling letters at the bottom. I only worry about dropping it on a hard surface .

Great Xmas stocking stuffer. Held solid for 6 months of daily use. Small piece of the lid has broken off rendering it unusable. Plan to return the lid and keep on sippin!

First off this is an expensive mug. I bought this as a gift and I will say it works amazing. Keeping drinks at the exact temp you want is awesome. Only con battery life could be better

Keeps my coffee at just the right temperature. Only cons to me are the high price and the capacity is lower than I would like. However, this would not stop me from buying again.

If you drink coffee on the go and like to slowly sip it like I do, this is a pretty good solution to the problem of coffee going cold. I wish the charging coaster could be plugged in with USB c instead of their proprietary charging cord but that's pretty much my only major complaint

This mug does a great job at keeping hot beverages hot! It has a range of 120 - 145 degrees F. I've placed room temperature liquid in it and it was able to heat it up to the set temperature. Battery life is not great, but it takes a lot of energy to generate all that heat! If the battery dies, don't expect the hot beverage to stay hot as well as other better known insulated mugs. This one is all about having a charged battery. Also, take your time putting the lid on so you don't cross-thread it. I wouldn't have bought this except that I received a gift card for Christmas. It's found a permanent home on my work desk!
