Literally used it twice since the purchase. On the second time we could not get the function to come on. As a result the fryer would not turn on. After further evaluation there is a pin that needs to be fully compressed when the door is closed for the oven to be operational. We literally stuck a little piece of cardboard to engage the pin. So yes am not happy and would not recommend the product.

Warning! Please be careful. I purchased this Emerald - 25L Digital Air Fryer Oven - Silver (Model:SM-AIR-1899) on Nov 12, 2020 (less than one year ago). I have used this oven several time with no problems. But a few weeks ago I turned it on and within 2 minutes it started smelling like burned rubber and then sparks came out of the back of the unit. I contacted the manufacturer, but I haven't heard back from them. I am concerned about the safety of this product and believe this unit could be a fire hazard.

Avoid purchasing this awful piece of junk!! It’s very complicated to operate & doesn’t work well. Was a nightmare to return online. I had to call for over a month to get my refund processed and ended up having to file a dispute with credit card to get refund. I kept getting the major run around with Best Buy. Also as others have mentioned it arrives with horrible impossible to remove blue tape. There’s a reason why this is marked down! I’ve purchased a great deal of small kitchen appliances and I’ve never had one perform as poorly as this one.

Too hard to use and the instructions don’t help. Nothing seems to come out the same twice. Not consistent but it could be operator error because it’s confusing

First time I used the oven the inside glass shattered. I used a $5.00 rewards certificate fo put toward the purchase price. I had no problem returning the oven. The $5.00 certificate was not returned to my rewards account.

Awful!!! Was super excited about the purchase but when it came, i regretted it everyday. Start and stop is one button. When i pushed stop it kept going.. forced to unplug everytime. It turned out it takes a while to fully come to a stop (who knew). No toaster option was another inconvenience. The worst is Prop 65 warning came as a surprise at arrival. Due to Covid, didn't bother to return. I do not expect this to last pass the 6 months warranty even without frequent use.

Smoke to much and not easy to use. Depending on what I cook it cause outlet to power off

Haven't been able to use yet Still trying to remove blue adhesive from where you taped door shut.

IT'S SO ANNOYING THAT YOU HAVE TO THE PLUG OUT & THEN BACK IN TO START IT AGAIN SO I HAVE TO MOVE THE FRIDGE EVERYTIME!

This came in today and had blue tape on it Been trying for 30 mins to get the tape off called them and they told me to buy WD40 to get the tape off Why should i have to do that plus i was on the phone for 40 mins trying to get someone to answer the phone at the Warwick R.I store but they never answered the phone another 10 mins corporate headquarters !!! This WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EVER !!!!!!!!!!

Gets very hot can’t use the knobs smoked out of the door returned it in two days

not pleased, returned item for different air fryer. had dents on the top, and knobs were tarnished.

Not what I was expecting! Expensive and does same as so many others for way cheaper.

The oven was used 3 times. On the 4th, the display was frozen on the Grill function. After unplugging and plugging back in, the backlight came on, but no functions displayed (nothing displayed). Had to return and ordered a different air fryer.

Wasn’t as easy to use as we thought. Just didn’t work as we expected. Returned it.

Kinda bulky... smokes up the house when I cooked sausage... wouldn’t recommend

This is an excellent buy when it worked. It cooked with amazing results. Shortly after purchase it would work on and off then I would need to unplug and try again. Returned the product.

It cooked way slower than my other air fryer. It takes almost an hour to crisp things. I ended up buying another one and with the 30 days passing, I threw this away. It wasn't even worth giving it away to someone.
