Died at 6 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really did love this air fryer. This was my second Emerald, first one was slightly smaller. I had that for about a year and a half (still worked) and gave that to my daughter and upgraded to the larger size Emerald. This one died, just stopped in the middle of cooking and that was it, after about 6 months. That was disappointing!! I will say that with the second Emerald my basket stayed in very good shape verse the first one. I let it cool for about 10-15mins and let it soak while we were eating. After dinner I used a sponge and it always cleaned up nicely. There were some grease areas, especially on the outside of the basket that were stubborn. I am really disappointed that it didn't last longer. I didn't use everyday, maybe 3 times a week. I will not purchase another Emerald. Trying the Ninja foodi.

I LOVE this fryer!

1st ONE STOP WORKING

Great product at first

The problem I have is just a couple of months after using it, the non stick coating started peeling off. now it is all rusted. Product should last longer than a couple months. I will definitely buy another air fryer, just looking for a better one that will last.

DO NOT BUY, GHOST COMPANY

The first thing to break off was the plastic tab that slides right above the handle. It did not affect functionality so I continued using it. I always took care of it and cleaned it as recommended in the user's manual. It suddenly stopped working in Oct 2020, there was no smoke, no sparks, it just stopped working. I tried looking for a customer service phone number or address but was not able to find a single piece of information for Emerald anywhere. It's a Ghost Company. Went to BestBuy, I was told they can't return/refund the purchase and I should contact the manufacturer. I asked BestBuy if they could provide me any information on how to contact the manufacturer. The manager had absolutely no clue on where to get that information and pretty much told me that nothing could be done even though the product is under a year old. One would expect a big retailer like BestBuy to have information on how to contact the manufacturer whose merchandise they sell but NO. I ended up tossing it with the garbage that this air-fryer is.

E2 Error
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to love this air fryer but sadly I can't. 6 minutes into frying an error pops on the screen that says "E2". I unplugged it and tried again but it kept happening about every 6 minutes. I contacted Best Buy and they sent a replacement but it's happening with the replacement as well. No, the fryer wasn't overfilled in case you're wondering. Hopefully I can find a brand of air fryer that works.

Errors at least once every time-E2

Not useful to me if I can’t walk away from it for a couple minutes. The manufacturer obviously knows about it as there is a huge sticker on the box explaining the error and what to do when it happens. Unfortunate since I want to buy a different Emerald fryer to replace it but I won’t bother.

Returned this horrible product

My review I originally posted has never been put on this site. Terrible product! No support from manufacturer. No way of contacting the manufacturer, which is why BB let me bring it back for in store credit.
