a pretty accurate view of life in a music store in the 90's

Great movie! It's about sticking it to the man! Loved it!

The employees of Empire Records are under the gun to raise the money that the assistant manager lost in Vegas the night before. Very young Liv Tyler and Renee Zellweger star in this decent comedy.

Ok, so this isn't the best movie, but it does bring back a lot of memories from when it first came out. Record stores - remember those? Well watch this and get a glipse of how great they were.

The main reason I bought this was because I found it in the bargain bin. That being said I still love this movie a total guilty pleasure. Great soundtrack so so acting and Liv Tyler love ya...

This was not quite what I expected but it was not bad either. Thought it would have more music in it but it was mostly a story about misguided friends.

It's always interesting to see actors in early performances. This one seems to be heavy on them. Not a classic, but worth the watch.

While it doesn't hold up as well as other movies from the 90's, it is still an entertaining watch.

My wife loves this movie, it makes me nostalgic for the local record store.

This is a must have for any movie collector. Classic !!

Very much NOT the 1995 version. This is the remastered 2015 version. Very disappointed in the false title of [1995]

all i can say is empire records is a classic movie from 95 bc it has a good cast good story and over all all very good movie from start to finish and it has some very funny parts in it too and well worth owning on blu-ray if you can find it cheap the only bad thing about the blu-ray is not the remix just the theater version i just wish it had both on the blu-ray but the blu-ray is still worth owning so if you are a fan of the movie than check it out

If you like rock music and hanging out in record stores, then you'll love this film! It bombed when it first came out, but it has somewhat of a cult following now. There's a big-name cast including Liv Tyler, Robin Tunney, Renee Zellweger, Ethan Embry and Anthony LaPaglia. Just like any coming-of-age movie, it will make you feel nostalgic for your youth and make you wish you could hang out with your friends and listen to records all day.

I can't speak as highly as a do about this movie, it was always one of my favorite movies form the mid 90s, Great cast of characters, Great soundtrack. A good time from beginning to the end. Worth owning

this is the most amazing movie EVERR if your like me and you like movies like- waynes world pretty in pink singles (ect) or 90's alternative/punk then you'll LOVE this movie

This movie is about some teens saving their jobs, hangout, and their very essence.

Memorable characters and plenty of 90s rock. Definitely a must watch.
