It's a great story, but don't expect it to be like the book.

I really enjoyed this movie, and it looks fantastic on blu-ray. The featurettes on this version are a nice extra.

Well, I can't say I liked this movie. I read the books and found this movie was a little light on plot. I would say the book series was a lot better. I do realize this was only one of the books but it didn't even do it justice. So I say, avoid buying it. It is worth a watch for free like online when it gets there though.

great adaptation of the book. obviously missing some aspects but that's to be expected in any movie. well worth buying

I purchased this dvd as a gift. My husband was very pleased with it.

The movie was a good watch for new sci-fi fans but needed more depth for my taste.
