This is a great movie. Based of the book it is worth watching. Though if you are a die hard Scott Card fan, the film is missing a few things that play heavily into future books. As a stand alone amazing, everyone needs to watch it.

Interesting plot with excellent actors. Story was interesting and held my attention. Graphics were eye catching. I especially like the blue ray / dvd combo. This way I can watch the movie regardless of which player may not be working, or, if neccessary, go to a friends house to watch it.

Great movie and a better price!! Never knew it was released in a 4k release. Leave it to Best Buy to have the current titles!!

I read the book for this. while it very closely follows the book it does skip a lot of the material. there are several parts that are skipped and some that are just plain rushed. the movie was good but should have been longer and more in depth. great to watch recommend that people watch.

Fun film with Harrison Ford and fun for the whole family. 4K upgrade from the blu ray delivers! Great low price Too!!!

Pretty good storyline and looks and sounds good on 4K. Colors pop and picture is crisp.

Had to purchase this movie for my son to watch after reading the book. Not exactly the same as the book, but a good movie. Nice that it came with the digital version so we can watch it when traveling if we want.

As a science fiction fan I found this film to be a solid film filled with imagination. it helped having a solid cast headed up by Harrison Ford who is no stranger to this genre. I highly recommend this film, well worth the money.

Overall this was a pretty good movie, the training scenes made the movie. The bullying was somewhat disturbing especially if younger kids watch this movie but overall a new group of young actors and actresses are on the horizon.

the human race is on the brink, or maybe not, but there are those who won't take the chance, (get them before they come back and completely get us.... sound like earth politics?) Other than that , i wish they had made it in 3D

I'm a huge fan of the series. I was so excited to see the movie when I heard they were finally making it. I saw it and was completely disappointed. Every scene in the book was like 30 long in the movie or completely cut from the movie. The Army battles could have been more in depth. That stuck out the most to me. The action and sights were great. Ender was decent. This could be a huge series like Happy Potter, except they probably didn't reach out to enough people or they did not find it enjoyable. I would have rather had this been a 2 part movie than having it all fit into 1. I only bought the Blu-ray to support the franchise.

Having read the book nearly 30 years ago and the next 5 too, I really like the story line. The producers of the movie did a great job given their production constraints. It a really good epic. Get the books, read them and hope they continue producing more movies from the series.

I originally bought this film for my husband but I watched it too. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how good this movie was. The actors are very convincing. I especially like the young actor who portrays Ender.

This movie did not get much promotion but it turned out to be a great movie. This movie is for sci-fi action fans who love good plots. I enjoyed this as a family watchable movie with great action and special effects. A great movie to add if you are a avid movie watcher.

I've read the book a couple of times and it's a great story, but the movie changed enough things vs. the book that I didn't think it worked that well. I know that adaptations have to condense and eliminate things due to the limits of what can fit, but I think some important ideas got missed in the movie, and the way the relationships between the characters was changed didn't make as much sense. I was kind of surprised to see that Orson Scott Card was a producer on the film. I did like the way the movie visualized some of the things from the book. I kind of wish I had seen the movie first since the book is so much better.

Book was WAY better, didn't care for the additional romance stuff either. Overall movie was better than expected and the casting of Asa and Harrison was superb! Still I recommend reading the book if you ever have a chance.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie since I had never heard of it. Actually a not bad movie. A good mix of SciFi and a decent story with a star filled cast equals decent entertainment.

I just watched this the other night for the second time. It has some strong messages about war and humanity without being too preachy. Though a bit slowly paced, it's engaging all the way to the end.

Really liked this movie. I found it amazing at the end to realize that at during all Ender's training he really was not playing a game, but warring with the enemy. I never saw that coming. Great movie is all I can say!!

I have not read the book, so I had no pre-expectations. I felt the story was well told, and the movie direction was competent. It was kind of dark, but I'm an oldster, so I just had to tough it out.
