Yea, it's a battery... and a good one with long life. Best Buy recycles these things, but I wish re-usable batteries had better performance for things like this that need really long life.

I am not sure how long this battery is supposed to last, I bought a similar one a year ago and it lasted at least a year. I used it to power a bathroom scale. So far so good. Thank you

We used Energizer batteries in our digital thermometer, which has been useful with four children and countless colds and fevers. The battery lasted about six years, including storage time.

Don't skimp out on batteries! These last a long time and tend to be more powerful out of the box than most brands.

They are Energizer batteries bought for a couple of remote controls, not much more to say, they work as expected.

These have been great replacement batteries for my electronic tire pressure gauge. It has worked great since putting this battery in and will hopefully last for a long time
