We needed to replace the batteries in both keys for one car so, needed 2 batteries. Best Buy sold these in-store in 6 packs for prices lower than this 2 pack. Unlike most of the 'button' batteries, these seemed to have very short shelf life (I had 3 year old CR2025 that were good into 2020). For whatever reason, BB had these for two different prices in two different packages, one vertical; the other horizontal. They had the same part number, save an "A" at the end. The vertical pack was cheaper, so we went with that.

CMOS battery replacement = good times

Replacing it with this little wonder changed all that. Having the incorrect time on a computer you depend on is not just inconvenient, it can mean other serious computer problems. So glad I had this option for repairing the problem.
