My wife has this in her blood glucose meter, and my old video camera uses this in the remote. It has been used for years, and is the standard battery for miniature applications. My experience with older PCs is that they need to have this replaced after 3 or 4 years, and that fixes startup problems with the BIOS. I keep two or three of these in stock for such needs.

Then if power is lost of course there’s no signal to find items. So I had to purchase this energizer brand and works perfectly. I guess that’s why apple used energizer in them at factory.
