They took the Mark II and listened to their customers and created the Mark III. It's super fast, has an unbelievable sensor, new clearer menus and a new battery that has more than twice the capacity of the old one. There are so many good things about this camera that you really need to go to a site like DPReview.com to read all about it. I have the m2 which was great, but the m3 beats it in every way. If you're looking for the best picture quality and want a super customizable, small, top of the line camera, you cannot do better than this new SONY.
