Posted .Hi Bonnie,
Wireless charging generates heat mainly because of energy loss during electromagnetic induction. When power transfers from the charger to the device, some energy converts into heat. Factors that increase heat include:
.Misalignment between the charger and device
.Thick or metal phone cases
.High charging power (like 20W)
If the device feels excessively hot, it’s best to stop charging and let it cool down. Overheating beyond normal warmth may indicate a defect, so contacting Energizer support is recommended:

Posted .Hi ZayD,
Thanks for sharing your experience. Wireless charging is generally slower than wired USB-C charging, especially in a car where power delivery can be limited. For faster results, we recommend using the USB-C port with a 20W adapter. If the charging speed is still unusually low, please contact our support team for assistance or a possible replacement:

Posted .Hi Bridge,
Sorry for the trouble with charging through the case. Wireless charging can be sensitive to alignment and case thickness, especially with magnetic designs. For best results, try removing the case or using a MagSafe-compatible case to maintain a stable connection. If the issue persists even without a case, please reach out to our support team for assistance:

Wireless charging is only around 2W.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Google Pixel 8 with a magnetic case. Other wireless chargers have no problem hitting 8W on my phone, but this one can barely hit 2W.

Posted .Hi Harrkev,
Thanks for sharing the details. Wireless charging output can vary depending on device compatibility and alignment. This power bank is optimized for MagSafe/Qi2 standards, which are primarily tuned for Apple devices. For Google Pixel, the magnetic case may not fully align with the coil, limiting power transfer. For faster charging, we recommend using the USB-C port with a 20W adapter. If performance remains unusually low, please contact our support team for assistance or a possible replacement:

Posted .Hi DavidS,
Sorry the charging speed and magnetic hold didn’t meet your expectations. Wireless charging is naturally slower than wired charging, so longer charge times are normal for this type of product. The magnet is mainly designed to help with alignment during charging, but I’m sorry it still didn’t perform the way you hoped.

don't expect too much
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the magnet wasn't that strong and the charger cannot charge to 100%.

Posted .Hi DianeK,
Sorry to hear the magnet strength and charging performance didn’t meet your expectations. The 5,000mAh capacity typically provides about one full phone charge, so it may not always reach 100% if the phone is in use during charging. For stronger magnetic hold, ensure you’re using a MagSafe-compatible case or no case at all. If you believe the product is defective, please contact our support team for assistance or a possible replacement:

Posted .Hi,
It’s normal for magnetic wireless chargers to feel warm during use, especially at 20W output. The heat comes from energy transfer and is within safe limits if the device isn’t excessively hot. For best results, keep the charger in a well-ventilated area and avoid covering it while charging. If you notice extreme heat or performance issues, please contact us here:

Posted .Hi TerryB,
We’re sorry to hear about the connection issue. This power bank uses MagSafe/Qi wireless technology, which is optimized for iPhone models. Motorola phones may not support magnetic alignment or Qi charging in the same way, so compatibility can be limited. For reliable charging, we recommend using the USB-C cable included with the power bank. If you still experience problems, please contact our support team for assistance:

Not long life of battery
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It says upto 8 hours. One time directly, it charged my I phone to 57 percent and then it got done. Also it takes 3/4 hours to charge it self.

Posted .Hi RahulS,
Sorry to hear the battery life didn’t meet your expectations. The 5,000mAh capacity typically provides about one full charge for most smartphones, so charging to 57% suggests the power bank may not have been fully charged or the phone was in use during charging. The 3–4 hour recharge time is normal for this capacity. If you believe the performance is below spec, please contact our support team for assistance or a possible replacement:
