We have tried cheaper generic brands...just doesn't seem to have an adequate lifespan. The extra cost for this brand is worth the better quality.

Perfect for fan remote control

The remote is needed to use the lights or change the speeds. I thought I was going to have a hard time finding the replacement so I was pleased that I could find it at my local BB. Fan speed and lights are now functional again!

Of course after I bought these, I saw them in the next 2 stores I went into; however I was not upset as I found Best Buy's price to be in line with the prices I found in Walmart and the grocery store.
