It doesn’t really charge it as much as it reduces the power drain while it’s being used. It does charge a phone decently. It takes a LONG time to charge this device.

After 2 weeks I opened it and it had 80% charge on it. Took it to zero on charging iPad and iPhone for 3 hours then charged it. Give it at least 6 hours to 100% ( went to bed). Will be useful on vacation and areas with few docking options. Great investment. Go get one.

Only wish it could output at a higher rate, but for the price this is more than adequate.
