It's important to know that the time it takes to recharge the power bank depends on the wall adapter you're using. We recommend using an 18W or higher Power Delivery (PD) adapter for the fastest recharge. Bought 2 and returned them both

I figured, newer model, more power and less weight would be perfect as we were going out of country for a week on vacation and could not risk our phones running out of charge when we were off resort. We bought these thinking they checked all the boxes, and Energizer had to make a decemt battery… right? Boy were we wrong. These were the worst. The first time we used one, it was to charge an iphone at 75% power. We were shocked that it ran the powerbank down to 30% just to charge the phone. We ended up having to charge them both after every use and use them sparingly to make sure our phones had enough charge each day while we were out exploring. We got home at 3:00 am on a monday and I was at the local Best Buy to retrun them as soon as the store opened, Just because we were so upset about how bad they were. We were so disappointed and will never buy an Energizer product again.

Good as a backup charger only.

The reason it couldn't fully charge your phone is due to a normal physical phenomenon called energy conversion loss. When energy is transferred from the power bank to your phone, some of it is naturally lost as heat. Because of this, a 5,000mAh power bank won't provide a complete 5,000mAh charge to your phone's battery.
