Works as expected and although not a top brand it still gives quality

Long lasting batteries are a necessity for the smoke alarms. That's why I like the Energizer.

We've all seen the bunny commercials, touting Energizer's longest lasting batteries. Hyperbole aside, they are some of the best batteries on the market for life span. You do pay a bit more than other brands (except the "Copper Tops") but you get more time without having to change them out. The downside is that you can purchase nearly twice the Rayovac or Amazon brand batteries for the same price.

I've had the best performance from Energizer batteries over the years, so they are what I use exclusively unless I can't get them for some reason. And these came at a great price with my Best Buy membership!
