Not much to say about 9V batteries. These are a good, reliable product.

Installed in stud-finders and still using 6 months later

I always go with this brand batteries due to life span! They are yet to let me down!

Long lasting for all the gadgets and tools that need them

The poor rating is not for the Energizer brand but for the delivery. The package was delivered on a really cold below zero day. The delivery service never rang my doorbell and I was home all day. I looked at my email hours later and it said it had been delivered so I looked for it. It had blown off the porch stoop. It was in a very small packing envelope, just slightly larger than the battery packaging. When I found the package I thawed the batteries out in the house. One of the two 9V cell cases appears to be slightly swollen. I measured the voltage across the terminals and it is not useable. The other cell is measuring a good cell voltage but there is no way to determine what it's long term reliability will be. I guess this is the chance you take when ordering something in the winter. I'm assuming the sub-zero temperature caused the damage in the one battery. In the past I've always had great success with Energizer batteries.

Energizer does the job required and battery life is good.
