They're batteries. Pop them in the smoke detector and leave them there until it says battery low. and when it does, pop in the 2nd one.

Long lasting, fire detector needed a new battery..

I was looking for batteries and I found them. They were right there. In the store. All I had to do was buy them. I have a plastic card that had a predetermined spending limit and I was handed a dated paper confirming the transaction. It was wonderful.

I finally figured out that it was less expensive to buy batteries from Best Buy than at the grocery. I keep a list of the batteries I need and on my next trip to Best Buy, I get my batteries there.... but why are 9V batteries so expensive compared to the other sizes?
