The bunny lasts forever

Frozen Cells

The package was delivered on a really cold below zero day. The delivery service never rang my doorbell and I was home all day. I looked at my email hours later and it said it had been delivered so I looked for it. It had blown off the porch stoop. It was in a very small packing envelope, just slightly larger than the battery packaging. When I found the package I thawed the batteries out in the house. One of the two 9V cell cases appears to be slightly swollen. I measured the voltage across the terminals and it is not useable. The other cell is measuring a good cell voltage but there is no way to determine what it's long term reliability will be. I guess this is the chance you take when ordering something in the winter. I'm assuming the sub-zero temperature caused the damage in the one battery. In the past I've always had great success with Energizer batteries.
