Needed for smoke alarm

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My smoke alarm was beeping intermittently and the company suggested installing a battery that expired 5 years out. Never even paid attention to expiration dates on batteries but I will now and won’t continue to buy in bulk as most expire before I would use.
