Batteries... you always need batteries for something. Need them for the smoke detector.

I always trust Energizer batteries. They can be kept for a long shelf time and still maintain charge. Always keep some handy at home.

This is the battery to get. Peace of mind that it will work even 5 years from now. That is reliability!

The poor rating is not for the Energizer brand but for the delivery. The package was delivered on a really cold below zero day. The delivery service never rang my doorbell and I was home all day. I looked at my email hours later and it said it had been delivered so I looked for it. It had blown off the porch stoop. It was in a very small packing envelope, just slightly larger than the battery packaging. When I found the package I thawed the batteries out in the house. One of the two 9V cell cases appears to be slightly swollen. I measured the voltage across the terminals and it is not useable. The other cell is measuring a good cell voltage but there is no way to determine what it's long term reliability will be. I guess this is the chance you take when ordering something in the winter. I'm assuming the sub-zero temperature caused the damage in the one battery. In the past I've always had great success with Energizer batteries.

For the price you could buy twice as many off brand batteries. But you can't beat the battery life, so its like "6 in one, half a dozen in the other"

Just purchased a cordless phone for the house and these came in perfect. Normally I purchase Duracell batteries but these were cheaper.
