Long lasting, fire detector needed a new battery..

I needed a 9v that lasts. Bought this alkaline 9v.

Best 9V alkalines on the market. When you are involved in contracting or any kind of work that requires electrical diagnostics, those recharge nihm batteries don't cut it, your multimeter or other tool has to have a true 9 volts. Have went through 8 of these this year through heavy usage, no budget alkaline brand would last as long, and mid budget ones have spotty quality control. Can't speak for Duracell yet haven't tried their batteries besides some OEM ones in a flashlight I bought. Powerful, reliable, and worth it.

I was looking for batteries and I found them. They were right there. In the store. All I had to do was buy them. I have a plastic card that had a predetermined spending limit and I was handed a dated paper confirming the transaction. It was wonderful.

They're batteries. Pop them in the smoke detector and leave them there until it says battery low. and when it does, pop in the 2nd one.

Worked as advertised. I'm using to test car speakers.

These batteries tend to last longer than the value brands.

I finally figured out that it was less expensive to buy batteries from Best Buy than at the grocery. I keep a list of the batteries I need and on my next trip to Best Buy, I get my batteries there.... but why are 9V batteries so expensive compared to the other sizes?

COULDN'T FIND THE ELECTRONIC ONE FOR USE IN THE NEW FIRE DETECTORS BUT THEY ARE HOLDING MUCH LONGER THAN HDX.

These batteries work fine. They are more expensive than other brands, but a better value when you buy them in multi-packs.

Energizer Batteries have always been reliable. These I got for smoke detectors and want to be assured they will be working!

That's the only brand I turn to. Never leaves me hanging. I use it for everything from toys to my home alarms. Moderate pricing for all income types.
