They're just batteries that can run flashlights, toys, miscellaneous different powered objects. Batteries are very useful in case the power goes out you need to use your flashlight.

The multi pack is good because they take at least overnight to recharge. I pop one pair in while another is recgarging and always have some ready to use. I find them perfect fory wireless keyboard andouse as well as for my AC thermostat.

Energizer is probably one of the better brands... I'm not loyal to any battery brands but these ones were on sale when I bought them (I think..?). Batteries are always expensive so I try to catch them on sale.
