In the remote it will probably last for years. I have used these and the other top brand and the selling price is usually the factor that draws me to a particular brand at the time.

Energizer Max AA Batteries

If the store is out of my Energizer Max AAs, I will not buy another brand. I will go to another location and purchase them. You can buy a cheaper battery but not a better one than Energizer.
