My gold standard in rechargeable batteries is the Sanyo/Panasonic Eneloop batteries. I bought these as a trial to see how they hold up. So far, I've been pleased. They have as much capacity, and if on sale, should definitely be considered. They also claim to use recycled materials to make these batteries, so there is that additional green cred to it.

Batteries that work the way they are intended. Not much else to say. A+

i only use duracell and energizer batteries. they are a little more expensive than other brands, but well worth the money in my opinion. i have never been let down by energizers in my gadgets
