    Energizer batteries are the only brand I buy. I know when I install them in my smoke detectors, I don't have to worry about the battery dying and the alarm chirping in the middle of the night.

    Pack of 24 batteries, will last a while. Save me trips to the store to but more batteries. Always like to keep spares on hand at all times. Energizer batteries are an excellent brand and will last a long time

    These are just basic AAA alkaline batteries that last a decent amount of time for a reasonable price. If I need batteries that will last a really long time in a critical application, I get the lithium ones (but they are so expensive). For frequently used high current devices I use Rechargeable Ni-Mh. For everything else, these fit the bill fine... Install and forget about them until it is time for replacement.
