I've been using Energizer for so long that I have to laugh when one of my friends has a device powered by anything else, and the batteries run out. My best friend is probably of sick of me opening a device to change the batteries and going, "Ohhh, that's why. Well, that's what you get for not buying Energizer". I no longer think this might just be subjective or a matter of personal preference. In my experience, Energizer is just the best you can get, and it's worth paying a little extra to get the batteries that last the longest. I won't buy any other brand of batteries.

I purchased a package of Energizer - MAX AAA Batteries (8-Pack) to power my noise canceling headphones for two non-stop 14 hour flights from Chicago to China & back again. The headphones require a single triple A battery, which lasted perfectly for an entire flight. The noise canceling feature was on continuously & I listened to the audio for five movies that I watched on each of the flights. The batteries had power & life to spare after the entire flight.
