    They are batteries. Pretty much work the way they are supposed to. I will say they last much longer than store brand and they are our preferred batteries for our hotel locks

    These are just basic AAA alkaline batteries that last a decent amount of time for a reasonable price. If I need batteries that will last a really long time in a critical application, I get the lithium ones (but they are so expensive). For frequently used high current devices I use Rechargeable Ni-Mh. For everything else, these fit the bill fine... Install and forget about them until it is time for replacement.
